JSS Barristers Files Proposed Class Action Respecting Loyaltyone, Co. (Air Miles)
UPDATE:
On December 1, 2016, the AIR MILES® Reward Program (the "Program") announced the reversal of its policy to expire reward miles that are five years or older. On March 13, 2017, the Program announced a further policy change whereby online merchandise rewards would be visible and available to all members of the Program. These two changes effectively resolved the claims advanced in the proposed class action lawsuit. Accordingly, on December 11, 2018, an application was made to the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench to approve the discontinuance of the lawsuit. The Court approved the discontinuance on that day.
