Daniel G. Gryba

Daniel is an Associate at JSS Barristers. He was born in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. Daniel received a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) with great distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. He then went on to complete a Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan.

During law school Daniel was awarded the MacIsaac, McNeil Sinclair First Year moot court prize. Daniel was also a member of the Usask Health Law Club, and volunteered for the Safe Third Country Agreement Research-a-thon. 

Prior to joining JSS Barristers, Daniel articled with a Criminal Defense firm in Lethbridge, Alberta. While articling, Daniel gained experience advocating for clients in Provincial Court and in the Court of Queen’s Bench. Daniel also negotiated on behalf of clients, and conducted research and drafting support for the firm’s more senior lawyers. Since joining JSS Barristers, Daniel has worked in the fields of employment law, construction law, professional negligence, and oil and gas law.

Outside of work, Daniel enjoys outdoor activities such as snowboarding, golfing and camping, as well playing his guitars.
