Christa Nicholson Awarded the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal

Christa Nicholson KC, a partner at JSS Barristers, has been awarded the Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal (Alberta). She was presented with the Medal yesterday at the McDougall Centre in Calgary. It commemorates the 70th anniversary of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada, and is given in recognition to those whose dedication to outstanding public service mirrored that of Her Late Majesty. Christa was nominated to receive the award by the Alberta Ministry of Justice and Solicitor General.

Christa can be seen here being presented with the Medal by Alberta Justice Minister Tyler Shandro.

She joins Glenn Solomon KC, FCIArb, ICD.D., as the second lawyer at JSS Barristers to receive a commemorative medal. Glenn received a Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2012, commemorating Her Late Majesty's 60th anniversary of her accession.
