We’re excited to welcome Hamneet Minhas, 2L Summer Student, to the JSS Barristers team.
Hamneet is currently completing a dual JD/HBA at Western University and the Ivey School of Business, expected to graduate in 2026. Originally from Calgary, her passion for advocacy and problem-solving began with a foundation in health sciences and has since grown through mooting competitions, mentorship roles, and community leadership.
As Co-Chair of the Western Health Law Association and Co-VP Finance for the South Asian Law Student Association, Hamneet is deeply involved in creating spaces for collaboration, education, and cultural connection. Her research and consulting work spans healthcare innovation, legal policy, and health equity — including contributions to Obesity Canada and the Health, Ethics, Policy and Law Lab.
Outside of law, Hamneet enjoys baking, thrifting, road trips, and spending time with friends and family.
