JSS Barristers is pleased to welcome Ripple Kaila to the firm as our newest Associate. Ripple joins us after summer and articling at a national law firm.
An alumni of Thompson Rivers University's Faculty of Law, Ripple was a part of the team that won the Best Factum - Appellant Award at the Donald G. H. Bowman National Tax Moot Competition in 2021. She also holds a B.Comm from the Haskayne School of Business at the University of Calgary, where she majored in accounting.
Outside of the firm, she is a competitive powerlifter. She competed in the Alberta Powerlifting Provincials last year, and now has her eyes set on the 2023 Western Canadian Powerlifting and Bench Press Championship.
