Carson Reynolds is an Articling Student at JSS Barristers. He joined the firm as a Summer Student in 2025 and returned as an Articling Student for his 2026-2027 term.
Education
Carson completed his law degree at the University of Western Ontario. Prior to living in London, he attended Carleton University where he earned his Bachelor of Health Sciences in Biomedical Sciences, achieving recognition for his academic success by making the Dean’s Honour List for the entirety of his degree.
In obtaining his undergraduate, Carson was heavily involved in a wide range of health sciences research and was published in both the fields of pediatric oncology and disability accessibility in peer-reviewed journals.
During law school, Carson remained involved in academic research in the philosophy of the rule of law and participated regularly in mock litigation exercises. Through these experiences, Carson’s passion for law became rooted in translating academic concepts and arguments into real world advocacy.
Personal
Outside of work, Carson enjoys staying active and reading. He is an avid runner and spending time outside, focusing on health and fitness have been lifelong passions.
Community
Having lived across Canada, Carson appreciates fostering community wherever he lives. While growing up in Saskatoon, he regularly volunteered at local track meets and a senior home. During his undergraduate studies, he spent many Sundays in the kitchen of the Ottawa Mission serving meals for underprivileged populations.
