We are excited to announce that as of January 1, 2024, Cassandra Sutter has been elevated to the role of Counsel. Cassandra first joined JSS Barristers as a Summer Student in 2012, then continued with her articles upon graduation, and has developed a growing general practice in civil litigation, including involvement in large-scale, complex commercial litigation and arbitrations.
Cassandra has been recognized by Best Lawyers Canada since 2022 on their Ones to Watch list, which is awarded to associates for their outstanding professional excellence. Cassandra has also been recognized since 2021 by Legal 500 as a Rising Star and Benchmark Litigation as a Future Star. More recently, Cassandra was recognized as a 40 & Under Litigator by Benchmark Litigation.
Our 38-member team of litigation lawyers is now comprised of 15 Partners, 19 Associates, two Counsel and two Articling Students.
