JSS Barristers is pleased to welcome articling student Lauren Tyrell to the team. Lauren obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University in 2024. During her time at TRU, she was awarded the Dean’s Course Prize in both Class Actions and Trusts for overall top mark in each class and, in 2023, she received the Guild Yule LLP Advocacy Prize for demonstrating excellence and outstanding performance in Advanced Advocacy. Lauren was active at TRU, mentoring 1L students as well as serving as VP of Communications for TRU’s Black Law Students Association. Lauren enjoys hiking and outdoor activities.
