The Five Corners Hearing Room
JSS Barristers' Five Corners hearing room is a state-of-the-art hearing room. It includes among its many features:
- An arbitrators' dais for up to 3 arbitrators, with document screens, storage drawers, and shelves for materials for each;
- Five counsel tables, which can seat up to 3 people at each, with document screens, storage drawers, and shelves for materials at each counsel table;
- A height adjustable speaker's podium;
- A witness stand, with room for two witnesses, desk space and a document screen;
- A clerk's desk;
- Videoconferencing facilities and screens throughout;
- Teleconferencing facilities;
- Microphones throughout for audio recording of proceedings;
- Cameras throughout for video recording of proceedings;
- Storage, both in room and moveable book carts;
- Break out rooms;
- A lounge area; and
- A refreshment service area.
