Meet Hamneet Minhas, one of our 2026 Articling Students at JSS Barristers.
After joining JSS Barristers as a Summer Student in 2025, Hamneet has returned to the firm to complete her articles.
Hamneet earned her Juris Doctor and Honours Business Administration degrees through Western University and the Ivey School of Business's dual JD/HBA program in 2026. Throughout her studies, she demonstrated a strong commitment to leadership and advocacy, serving as Co-Chair of the Western Health Law Association and Co-VP Finance of the South Asian Law Student Association.
Her interest in advocacy also extends to healthcare research and policy. Through roles with the Ivey-Schulich Healthcare Incubator Program, the Health, Ethics, Policy and Law Lab, and Obesity Canada, Hamneet contributed to projects focused on improving patient care, strengthening health systems, and advancing equitable access to treatment.
